Ukrainian activists request electoral rights in Poland

“We want to show that we live here and have a voice,” said Ukrainian activists in an interview with the Ukrainian portal Ukraine.pl. Foreigners conducted an interior pre-election poll, which shows that the most popular support among Ukrainians in Poland is the Civic Coalition and the Left. "The claim that work, housing and paying taxes in a given country should automatically consequence in the granting of electoral rights is irrational, is simply a kind of emotional blackmail," comments the editor of the Nationalist.net.

The Ojkophobic Stus Foundation organised its own vote, to which they invited Ukrainians surviving in Poland, but besides Belarusians, Russians or Kazakhs.

In Poland they work, pay taxes, rise children, spend money and start families. They power the Polish economy. They besides want a good future of Poland! They have an opinion, too. They besides have a voice with which unfortunately nobody matters," said 1 of the voting organizers for migrants.

The results of the vote are as follows: Left won half of all the votes among migrants. The second place, with a consequence of 40%, was won by the Civic Coalition. The Confederation received the lowest votes (3%) and Law and Justice (less than 2%)

Representatives of the Stus Foundation told in an interview with Ukraine.pl what was the reason for organising this action. As they explain, their foundation includes migrants who have lived in Poland for years. They graduated and worked here, feeding Polish GDP. They cannot participate in Polish political life in any way.

We do not anticipate this to happen soon, but we want to give the fresh residents of Poland the chance to hear their voice. We cannot talk about the comprehensive integration of people with experience of migration or exile and migration policy without ensuring everyone a sense of perpetuity, including political ones," said Anna Radke from the STUS Foundation.

Reduce the number of immigrants needed

The parties favoring mass immigration are always enjoying the choice among foreigners, which is why the affirmative results of the Left and Civic Coalition were predictable. any groups may deliberately search electoral rights for immigrants in the future in order to gain higher support; this is beneficial only for these environments, but not for Poland.

All people are primarily associated with the homeland and culture in which they were raised, and the country to which they have come for a profit is considered only in financial terms. Foreigners are in favour of raising social benefits or granting free housing, but as a consequence of the economical crisis caused by excessive donation, we will feel negative consequences, not immigrants who can return to their home country at any time.

A large number of immigrants with electoral rights may besides pose a threat in the event of a conflict with the country from which they have landed. This is simply a simple way to the outbreak of civilian war, which best reflects the current situation in France and Sweden after the outbreak of the war in Israel. Muslim visitors are causing riots in European countries that have decided to support their ally in the mediate East.

The claim that working, surviving and paying taxes in a country should automatically consequence in the granting of electoral rights is irrational, is simply a kind of emotional blackmail. You can't come to a abroad country and just work to buy political influence if you don't have real ties with this country.
