The crisis in European steel manufacture has become the subject of an extraordinary manufacture summit. Unofficial findings show that the European Commission will present a proposal to impose 50-percent of the steel duties imported from outside the European Union next week. At the same time, duty-free import quotas are to be halved. The tariffs would apply to all steel suppliers, without exception.
