"Ukrainian defence Forces have struck the Slavneft-JANOS refinery in Russia's Yaroslavl region and respective facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine," - notified the General Staff of Ukraine on Telegram messenger. It explained that Slavneft-JANOS is 1 of the largest refineries in Russia, capable of processing up to 15 million tons of oil and condensate per year. The company supplies fuel to the Russian military. "Explosions and a large fire were reported close the plant. The scale of the harm is being determined," the release said.
