The long-awaited offensive on the confederate Front began on August 29 and continues to this day. Countertrusion, due to strong enemy opposition and slow, although systematic, gains of the field Armed Forces of Ukraine (SZU), is sometimes called a “creeping offensive”, which is all the more adequate if we compare the fighting in the south to the “blitzkrieg” close Kharkov. In the Kherson Oblast we do not have a breach of the front, and so the operational retreat of the enemy and the mass of abandoned armament and equipment. SZU's successes inactive have only a tactical dimension - virtually individual localities were gained and inactive gained on the Kherson front, at the expense of considerable losses in people and equipment.
