Ukraine: France won't give us Mirage, we request better fighters

“I thank the French media for supporting Ukraine, but the reports about Paris allegedly giving us Mirage 2000 fighters are not true,” Ukrainian defence Minister Olexiy Reznikov said on Wednesday during a joint press conference with his Croatian counterpart Mario Banozyć. He added that the Mirage 2000 has akin parameters as the MiGI-29, so it is most likely that the machines of early versions, for example the Mirage 2000C, which have rather limited parameters, alternatively than the newer Mirage 2000-5 with much greater capabilities.
