The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski informed on Friday about the exchange of POWs with Russia.
" 185 Ukrainian defenders are returning home from Russian captivity today. 1 civilian is besides returning with the defenders. These are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National defender and the State Border Service. Privates, sergeants and officers" wrote the head of state on social networks.
He explained that the prisoners recovered from the Russian side were, among others, defenders of Mariupola and Azowstal plants in this occupied city today, as well as soldiers who fought in the directions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporos, Sum, Kiev and Kursk.
