The contract was concluded on 23 January, as reported by [RBC-Ukraine service](https://newsukraine.rbc.ua/news/ukraine-orders-18-modern-iris-t-air-defence-1769188497.html). The value of the contract has not been given, but German partners and global support mechanisms are liable for paying for it. Thus, the Ukrainian army will not only complement the losses suffered in these systems, but will besides importantly increase its ability to fight Russian air raid measures.
