The General Staff of Ukraine reported a hit at the oil refinery in Saratov in the southwest of Russia. The release published on Saturday highlighted that the plant provided fuel for the occupying army.
The announcement did not uncover what kind of weapon was utilized for the attack. Saratov is located about 700 kilometres (700 km) in a consecutive line from the Ukrainian border.
"Sarat refinery belongs to the oldest oil companies in Russia. According to data from 2023, her processing capacity was 4.8 million tonnes," the staff announced.
