The fresh units aim to combat Russian strike drones, in peculiar mass-used "Shachid" drones, which regularly attack Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure. The usage of interceptor drones allows to increase defence efficiency while reducing the usage of costly anti-aircraft rocket systems.
