American military equipment has become a basic tool for many Ukrainian units, starting with AR-15 household rifles, through HMMWV cars or M113 armored transporters. In the case of the last two, we are talking about the transportation of over 2100 and nearly 1000 vehicles, so the scale that eclipses many armies of the world. Their universality translated into an expanding cognition of these structures, so it was a natural direction to make at least spare parts in their production capacity. However, as it turns out, the Ukrainians went 1 step further and were to copy the HMMWV and the M113 transporters. It is not known whether this most likely unlicensed production is based more on the assembly of parts ordered partially from outside the country, or whether, in spite of the Russian attacks, to a large degree of industrial potential, Ukrainians manage to create, for example, full hulls of M113 copies.
