Ukraine solves paper brigades [ANALYZA]

The brigade solution is the consequence of serious problems with recruiting and training fresh soldiers. The first plan of the Ukrainian command was to make well-trained reserve units that could become a strike force for a possible counteroffensive in 2025. However, the situation on the front has made the request besides urgent to afford specified long-term preparations. The plan was to form 8 brigades of the 150 series, which would full about 53,000 soldiers**. Each brigade was to be equipped with modern military equipment, including tanks, armored transporters and artillery. The task was implemented with the support of NATO countries, which undertook to train Ukrainian soldiers and supply the essential equipment.
