Vice-President of the Society of Lovers of Lviv and South-East Borders, Wiesław Nowakowski, as all year he wanted to give support to mediocre Poles in Ukraine. As it turned out at the border, for an unknown reason he received a three-year ban on entry.

Ukraine is stalking Polish socialist. During customs clearance during the trip, during which Poles surviving in Ukraine Nowakowski wanted to supply Christmas aid, problems arose. The main organizer of the action, Wiesław Nowakowski, was informed that he had a three-year entry ban issued by the SBU.

"Unfortunately, these are my last pictures of the action "Light Christmas for Poles in the Borderlands". I was declared an enemy of Ukraine, not allowed into its territory, and received a three-year ban on entering this... States.

Our full journey started very well. After packing gifts and collecting crew members from various localities, our bus reached the border crossing point in Budomierz, where Polish border guards sent us distant very efficiently and quickly. Then we came to the Ukrainian side. Our passports were taken for inspection, and after about half an hr I was summoned from the bus to the customs booth. The customs officer informed me that the strategy contains information about the ban on my individual entering Ukraine.

I was told to go with 1 of the customs officers to a building on the first floor. There I was told to wait in front of 1 of the rooms. After about 40 minutes, an officer left and told me to get back on the bus for my luggage. I took my things and said good-bye to the crew, reasoning that I would be escorted to the Polish side. Unfortunately, I was again led to the same building I had been waiting for. I spent another hr outside the same room.

After this time, I was summoned inside and a paper was presented to sign, informing me that it was a refusal to enter Ukraine. I refused to sign, explaining that I do not realize text in their language and I want to receive a version in Polish. In response, an officer shouted that it was “Ukrainian land and Ukrainian language.” I replied that I am Polish and that I am not curious and that I have the right to know what I am signing. I understood from their conversations that the decision was made by the safety Service of Ukraine, but no reason was given to me.

I was held there in a chair like during an interrogation — I was sitting there, and 4 customs officers stood over me. After about 40 minutes, possibly an hour, 2 men looked like they had just left the beer stand. They were told something, pointing to me, and then they were told to sign a paper that I had previously refused. After all, 1 of the customs officers escorted me to the Polish border and there passed my passport to our customs officers“ — wrote Nowakowski on his Facebook profile.

OUR COMMENTS: specified hostile actions against Poles are taken during the war in which we aid Ukraine. Until the hair is on our heads erstwhile we think about what aggressive, the Kiev government will do with Poles after the fighting stops.
