Ukraine and Sweden will launch joint arms production

[As we read in a message from the Swedish Ministry of Defence](https://www.regeringen.se/pressmeddelanden/2025/08/ukraina-och-sverige-opppnar-for-gemensam-produktion-av-forsvarsmateriel/), the decision is intended to aid preserve unchangeable supply chains and concentrate defence manufacture resources both in Sweden and Ukraine. "The paper updates our joint efforts in this area, creates the conditions for joint projects in the defence manufacture and ensures the sustainability and reciprocity of cooperation between our countries. We will proceed to exchange technologies and experiences in the production of weapons and military equipment to strengthen the resilience and self-sufficiency of our defence industries," said the head of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine Denys Szmyhal.
