In the magazine [Wir Sind Die Reserve](https://www.reservistenverband.de/magazin-loyal/interview-rheinmetall-paperger/), Armin Papperger, president of Rheinmetall, discussed the issue of deliveries of Ukraine and production in Ukraine of the combat infantry wagons KF41 Lynx. It can be said that he cooled down all the highly optimistic media reports about this project. For now, in Germany, 5 Lynx infantry vehicles are being built for Ukraine, but they are most likely prototypes or an information series. However, there is no contract for serial production, due to the fact that it is apparent that individual has to pay for this equipment. Ukraine is improbable to have backing for this, and no another country will pay at least a fewer billion euros for entirely fresh military equipment for Ukraine.
