This is simply a richly illustrated, album edition devoted to the past of the Scottish Rite Reclassified, Templars and 35th anniversary of the oldest Polish liberal lodge (The Hope Lodge). The book has the character of monographs supported by numerous, unpublished photographs. Thanks to it you can learn not only the past of the ritual, but besides the modernness of the masonry. The edition is limited, collectible and although not cheap, we hope that specified rich origin material will make you interested.
The book consists of 3 parts.
In the first of these, the reader will find the first (and only in Polish literature) to make the past of the Rectified Scots Ritual, with an explanation of the Templar thread, sources of the Order of Strict Observantia and the stories of Jean Baptiste Willermoza, Martinez de Pasqually and Saint-Martin.
Part 2 is simply a comprehensive, exhausting biography of the Hope Lodge. She was presented with origins and French roots, the transfer to Polish lands, the work put into building the foundations of Polish masonry and the function in establishing structures of higher degrees. It is besides a tribute paid to the Nestor of Polish Free-Multure, the longtime Venerable Master of the Lodge – B: Zbigniew Grabowski. This part is supplemented by fragments of Masonic boards – a unique chance to look into the intellectual achievements of the Lodge.
Part 3 brings the past of liberal masonry (Romanic), from the historical Scottish origins, through the turbulent period of the Revolution, French, dismemberment with the freemasolarism to modern times. A peculiar function is played by the chapter “Freedom in the camera lens”, which contains many photographs of places, regalias and papers related to masonry.
