UK to send aircraft carrier to Pacific in 2025

Visiting Japan ahead of the G7 summit, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that London will send an aircraft carrier to the Pacific as part of an aircraft carrier strike group in 2025 and double the number of troops in upcoming global military exercises, the British government said in a statement.
