Ukrainian air force formed a mixed squadron of F-16 fighters, in which veterans from the USA and the Netherlands fly alongside Ukrainian pilots. This is the first publically discussed case erstwhile western pilots are straight active in combat air operations over Ukraine. The squadron operates in strict secrecy and already plays a central function in defending airspace over the Kiev circuit.
