U.S. suspends sanctions against Russian oil giant

The U.S. administration announced on Thursday that it was temporarily suspending part of the sanctions against Lukoil. This is to enable the operation of the company's petrol stations outside Russia. At the end of October, in order to put force on Russia and get it to talk about ending the war with Ukraine, Washington put Russia's 2 largest oil companies, Lukoil and Rosneft, on the list of entities subject to sanctions.
