The Pentagon did not comment on Wednesday on possible talks about the deployment of American atomic weapons in Lithuania. Earlier, Lithuanian defence minister Robertas Kaunas informed about the initiation of specified consultations, while Polish deputy chief MON Paweł Zalewski talked about discussions on Poland's possible participation in the atomic deterrence system.
