U.S. Army orders ammo circulating for nearly a billion dollars

The deal is to supply the U.S. Infantry Divisions. Armies stand alone capable of destroying tanks, light armored vehicles, reinforced targets and the strength of a surviving opponent. The estimated date of completion of the contract is August 2029. According to the Pentagon message, a $990 million contract, or fundamentally a framework contract, was concluded by the Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground for an unspecified amount and unspecified transportation (IDIQ – Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantum) based on costs plus a fixed fee and a fixed price.
