The triumph of TKMS in the tender for 12 fresh submarines for the Royal Canadian Navy is not only a triumph for the German and Norwegian defence industries. This choice clearly demonstrates a change in the course of Canadian defence policy. The government in Ottawa is making a turn to Europe.
