Speeches by Prof. Tadeusz Guz - the title was given to him by president Andrzej Duda - concerning the 9/11 bombings and another controversy
Fr. prof. dr. Tadeusz Guz of the Institute of Catholic doctrine of the University of Lublin in his public speeches presents again views questioning the course of the attacks on the planet Trade Center of September 11, 2001 in the United States.
Among another things, the clergyman claims that no American aircraft was hijacked or hit the WTC towers. According to him, recordings depicting the plane's impact on buildings were to be "media simulations".
In his statements, he besides argued that the laws of physics – in his opinion – exclude the anticipation of entering an airplane into the construction of a skyscraper. In his opinion, the device should bounce back from the building, and the public was given a false image of the events.
Meanwhile, the September 11 bombings were widely documented in many investigations, reports of government commissions, and analyses of engineering, safety and aviation specialists.
Fr Guz had previously been controversial with his public statements. In the past, he spoke, among others, of the alleged "ritual murders" committed by Jews in Poles — these claims are regarded by historians as unfounded and belong to anti-Semitic historical myths. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a clergyman claimed that coronavirus could not be infected during mass in the church.
