Tusk talked about defence spending.
– In this budget we presume that we will spend PLN 200 billion on the safety of Poland. It has to cost you. This is not abstraction, it's gigantic money, it's 1 of the world's highest share of defence spending in national budgets. The war in Ukraine is unfortunately gaining momentum. Therefore, we did not hesitate and we will proceed to arm the Polish state to be ready for any condition – the Polish Prime Minister indicated.
As we have already informed, on Wednesday night, Russia carried out another massive attack on Ukraine. The regional authorities there reported that at least 24 civilians were killed during the last 24 days as a consequence of Russian attacks and at least 62 were injured.
Russia launched 598 drones during last night, including assault drones and Shahed decoys, as well as 31 missiles, including 2 Ch-47 Kinzaz ballistic missiles, 9 Iskander-M missiles and 20 Ch-101 maneuvering missiles, reported Ukrainian air force. The authorities added that at least 18 people were killed as a consequence of Russia's mass attack on Kiev, including 4 children, and 38 were injured.
