That's how much the government will spend on priests' pensions in 2026. The amount may shock

The government plans to rise the minimum wage, which will increase the expenses of the Church Fund. Next year, we're going to request extra millions to cover the clergy. This means that in 2026 the state will spend over PLN 272 million on contributions to clergymen - according to the draft budget bill, which was published on the Ministry of Finance website.
