Poles are increasingly judging the Church

Super Express revealed that the latest survey shows a marked deterioration in the social image of the Catholic Church in Poland. For the first time in years, negative assessments dominate affirmative ones – as many as 45% of respondents declare a critical attitude towards this institution, while 38% of respondents positively measure it. What peculiarly disturbing for the Church, half of Poles admit that their opinion of it is worse present than a fewer years ago. The change for the better only applies to marginal groups – only 5% of respondents. For 45 percent of the respondents, the attitude towards the Church remained unchanged, suggesting that the decline in trust is not a temporary swing, but a permanent trend. Among negative assessments, as many as 1 in 5 respondents declare strong criticism, indicating strong emotions and increasing social polarity. At the same time, 17 percent of Poles are incapable to clearly find their position, which can indicate a distance or indifference towards an institution that has played a key function in public life for decades. The results of the study, carried out on a typical example of adult Poles, confirm the deepening crisis of assurance in the Church and pose questions about its future position in a changing society.

She said. She pointed out that maintaining contracts and introducing standards is the basis of Polish 2050: – We have introduced our standards to this coalition. We keep a deal, show people that we can be truthful in politics and be verbal. However, she warned that the deficiency of a post of deputy prime minister "will be a very loud and expressive demonstration of how this coalition is managed". She besides pointed to the "real challenge", which is the increasing Euroscepticism fuelled by Kremlin narrative, and stressed the request to talk boldly about the benefits of EU membership: - It is our occupation to say "stop" to this communicative and to talk bravely about why we are in the Union.

The debate was rapidly attended by commentators on military and safety issues, questioning the explanation of Wałkuski. However, the Euro MPs of the Law and Justice responded the hardest Dominik Tarczyński (46 l.)who publically accused the writer of racism and announced the consequences, claiming that the case had been reported to the American administration. His entry polarized the public: any considered him to defend the image of Poland, others to be a disproportionate reaction and escalation of the conflict.
