Tibetan children are to become Chinese

The Human Rights Watch study shows that the process of cultural recovery of Tibetans is increasingly violent. This time the main tool became language. The Chinese authorities consistently displace Tibetan language from schools, replacing it with standard Chinese and subjecting education to sinosity politics. Control over Tibet is no longer at stake, but a gradual break-up of the full generation with its own culture, past and identity.
