Honorary donors are entitled to 2 days off from work – 1 on the day of blood donation and the another on the following day. MP Bartosz Romowicz (Poland 2050 – 3rd Way) wrote in an interpellation addressed to 2 ministries that employers point out that "some employees abuse the rights" they are entitled to in this respect. The consequence to this substance was provided by Deputy Minister of wellness Jerzy Szafranowicz.
