For fans of the iconic series "Twin Peaks" created by David Lynch and Mark Frost, February 24 is simply a peculiar date. It was that day, at 11:30 p.m., FBI peculiar Agent Dale Cooper first arrived in duplicate Peaks town, starting an investigation into Laura Palmer's mysterious death. In the series, this scene was immortalized by Cooper’s words: “Diane, it is 11:30 on February 24. I am entering duplicate Peaks town...”
From that minute on, on 24 February it became a symbolic day for fans of the series around the world, celebrated as "Twin Peaks Day". On this day, the series marathons, thematic meetings and tastings of the heroes' favourite delicacies are organized. 1 of them is the celebrated cherry pastry that Agent Cooper enjoyed at a local cafe.

A recipe for Cherry Pie, or cherry pastry from the duplicate Peaks series
* Oh, yeah * Cake:
+ 2 glasses of flour
+ 1 glass of powder sugar
+ They pinch salt
+ 1/2 glasses of cold butter, diced
+ 1 egg
+ 1/4 glass of cold water
* Filling:
+ 2 glasses of cherry
+ 1/2 glasses of sugar
+ 2 tablespoons citrus juice
+ 1/4 teaspoons of cinnamon
+ They pinch salt
* Preparation:
1. Cake: In a bowl combine flour, powder sugar and a pinch of salt. Add cold butter diced in your ankle and rub your fingers until the chipmunk is formed. Add egg and cold water, rapidly fold the cake, form a ball, wrap food foil and cool in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
2. Filling: Put the cherries in a pot, add sugar, citrus juice and peel, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Heat on average heat until the fruit lets go and start cooking. Solute potato flour in a tiny amount of cold water, add to the boiling cherries, stirring until the filling thickens. Put it down to cool off.
3. Baking: rotation the chilled cake, place it in the mould, fill it with filling and cover with a second layer of cake. Bake in an oven heated to 180°C for about 40-50 minutes until the cake is golden.
