Changes in public media
On Tuesday after 22 p.m., the Sejm approved a resolution “on restoring legal order and impartiality and reliability of public media and the Polish Press Agency”. Members of KO, PSL, Poland 2050 and the Left expressed their support for this proposal. Mr Bogdan Zdrojewski was a typical of the applicants. 244 Members voted in favour of the resolution, with 84 abstentions.
The proposed resolution states that the Sejm, with a view to repairing the democratic basis of the state and "because of the interests of citizens and the public interest", does not accept the state of the law's infringement and the violation by public broadcasting units and the Polish Press Agency of the right to information and principles of political pluralism which have their basis in the Constitution's provisions. The Sejm besides states that this state is not accepted by the majority of the population, as citizens have clearly shown in the election of 15 October 2023.
Donald Tusk, before taking over as Prime Minister, announced changes to TVP. He noted that the station under the regulation of Law and Justice had become a propaganda tool and manipulated the recipients. Now everything has to change. As we know, Danuta Holecka decided to leave Polish Television. However, this is only 1 of the many changes to be made. Many more can happen this year.

Journalists leave Polsat for TVP
Further information about the power supply of Polish tv series by employees from another stations is being leaked. It's mostly Polsat.
Virtual Media.pl portal informed about people to join the refreshed Polish Television. The first is Milena Bobrowska from Polsat News. A female has reportedly already sent a suicide note to her colleagues at the station. Before joining Polsat News, the reporter worked for TVN24.
Also Margaret Nowicka-Aftowicz, who has already confirmed her departure from Polsat News, can prepare materials for a fresh program to replace “News” TVP. In fresh years, she has been a reporter for “Report” on Polsat News. She had previously besides worked on Superstation and fresh TV.
The weather presenter, Jarosław Kret, besides said goodbye to Polsat Television. His duties have been taken over for any time now by Claudia Kroczek, known from the station Event 24. Polsat agreed to leave Crete early so he could return to TVP as shortly as possible.
However, not everyone who receives a proposal to join TVP is willing to change jobs.
"The best of the erstwhile squad have managed for 8 years, they have another jobs," said Onet portal journalist, who was offered a occupation change and moved to TVP. “The fresh squad that is already downloading journalists does not know precisely what the financial situation of TVP is, so it is hard to plan the budget for next year. Already the current president of TVP Mateusz Matyszewicz announces cuts".
