The National Broadcasting Council imposed a fine of PLN 145,000 on Telewizja Polska in connection with a study on the construction of the Museum of Memory and Identity in Toruń, owned by Father Tadeusz Rydzyk. The head of the National Broadcasting Council, citing complaints from the Radio Maryja community, stated that the material contained slander and incited spiritual hatred, falsely presenting the investment. TVP has the option to appeal this decision.
