"Together with the leaders of France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan, we declared our readiness to work on the American peace plan, raising reservations at the outset of any of its points," Donald Tusk wrote on Sunday on platform X.

The Prime Minister announced that he would decision Poland's point of view on this issue at tomorrow's gathering in Luanda before the start of the Africa-European Union Summit. Tusk besides published a akin entry in English.:
"With the leaders of Europe, Canada and Japan, we have declared our readiness to work on a 28-point plan, despite any reservations. However, before we begin our activities, it would be good to be certain who is the author of the plan and where it was developed."
The plan, which aims to end the war in Ukraine, was created in Washington, D.C., but by the Western media is called the "American-Russian" plan, as it mostly corresponds to Vladimir Putin's demands. It foresees, among others, the permanent removal of parts of Ukraine, restrictions on the number of troops to 600,000 soldiers, limits its chances of joining NATO.
Neither Ukraine nor its European partners participated in the erstwhile consultation on the plan. Russia was to participate in these negotiations.
However, the Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the paper was created in the United States and is based on information coming from both Russia and Ukraine. In turn, a group of senators had previously stated that Rubio had informed them that the task did not reflect Washington's position.
What's next with Ukraine? The peace plan talks in Geneva
As we wrote on Temat.pl, the top officials from the United States and Ukraine and national safety advisers from France, large Britain and Germany will gather in Geneva on Sunday. Donald Trump sent to Switzerland, among others, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and peculiar Envoy Steve Witkoff, who had already arrived in the city.
– We hope to work out the last details... to make a favourable agreement for Ukraine," said the American official, quoted by Reuters. And he added, "Nothing will be agreed until both presidents (Trump and Zelenski-ed.) meet".
Prior to the departure of officials to Geneva Trump noted that the current proposal for Ukraine is not final.
