– What happens after the election? We fight down here for all vote. I'm going to the neighbor's house, "You're all about the vote." There's democracy, there's respect for votes, what's going on? (...) You go out and you say, "As far as I'm concerned, Nawrocki won, we won't number all the votes due to the fact that he won." No, I'm in democracy, I want all the votes to be numbered! – turned to Donald Tusk 1 of the participants of an open gathering in Pabianice, and in the area cheered up.
An old female added that "it was terrible for her." I stopped watching the news, stopped believing anything. If there are next elections and you come and say, "Every voice counts," then who will hear you?" she said exhilaratingly, and then added, "You will reject this cotton candy that is around you and look at how terrified people are that their expectations have not been fulfilled."
Donald Tusk in Pabianice lost patience. It's about recalculating votes.
– Who should number these votes? – answered Donald Tusk, clearly out of balance by the question (let's add that in the crowd were besides people with "Recalculate votes"). - No, dear, no. Be serious, please," he said in a raised tone.
When the "police" responded among the participants of the meeting, the upset Prime Minister dropped out: "Do you truly want to live in a country where the police will number the votes and then announce the election results? People!". – No, there will be no specified Poland as long as I am the Prime Minister, where police and prosecutors will say: "The elections are irrelevant. We will number the voices" – he thundered, and any of the audience awarded his words with applause.
– You want to know the story? I'll tell her... she's not very exciting. There were signals, you remember, from the committee itself, that there were mistakes. The first signal of a massive change came from a commission headed by a man of the civilian Coalition. Later, more signals appeared and a survey began, including a survey by the prosecutor's office – Donald Tusk pulled.
The Prime Minister recalled that the National Prosecutor's Office had analysed the documentation from 250 devolution electoral commissions, and the problems were identified in 84. “I say this not to give you a word of honor that in all another (committees) it was perfectly ok,” said the Prime Minister.
As he stressed sometimes "we are dealing with evident abuse or fraud, miscalculation, fatigue, stupidity" – besides due to the fact that we have a very bad strategy and anyone can become a associate of the committee without any qualifications. (...) The election law must be changed if possible with the fresh president," Tusk added, and he returned to the main topic.
"End of discussion. I am not the talker of the Sejm, I am not convening the National Assembly"
– I want to make 1 thing clear to you: we have institutions that are described in the Constitution, which have been raped by the PiS, but we have no others," Tusk said.
– The decisions on what the elections look like, the results, are made by the ultimate Court and the talker of the Sejm, who convenes the National Assembly. If the ultimate Court – which we know is illegal, but there is no other... What am I expected to call so immediately, with my colleagues my ultimate Court? – asked rhetorically Donald Tusk in Pabianice.
He stressed that "we live in specified a reality." “We have specified a corrupted state”, he said and stressed that the talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia (who confessed that he was urged to "attack the state") immediately declared that he would accept the oath of Karol Nawrocki. Actually, the discussion is over. I am not the talker of the Sejm, I am not convening the National Assembly," he noted.
Tusk besides referred to his nervousness. Do you know why I'm upset? due to the fact that I endure more than you do – he stated and added that if we "we lose, I will pay the highest price." He added that although "he does not like it", Karol Nawrocki would be sworn in as president.
The swearing-in of Karol Nawrocki for president on August 6
The examination of voting cards from 250 regional commissions, which the National Prosecutor's Office spoke about on Friday, shows that in the second circular of the presidential election Karol Nawrocki received 48,473 votes in reality and Rafał Trzaskowski – 43,709. Meanwhile, authoritative protocols indicated 50 011 and 42 168 votes respectively. This means that Nawrocki had 1538 votes besides many and Trzaskowski had 1541 besides few.
– So we're talking about a difference of 1,500 votes. Mathematics indicates that this difference did not affect the result of the election," noted the spokesperson for the National Prosecutor's Office Przemysław Nowak.
Let us add that the ultimate Court officially confirmed the validity of Nawrock's election as president in early July. The fresh president's oath was scheduled for August 6 before the National Assembly.
