Tusk unambiguously about Nawrock: There is clearly a fresh leader on the right

Karol Nawrocki became the fresh president of Poland after taking his oath. In the course of the speech, strong words were given towards the current government. Donald Tusk addressed the situation, pointing out that the fresh president is "apparently the fresh leader on the right". He besides noted Jarosław Kaczyński's anger.


During his first speech as president Karol Nawrocki made any strong remarks about Donald Tusk's government. The Prime Minister referred to this statement. He besides noted today's nervousness of Jarosław Kaczyński in the Sejm.

Tusk: I would not like to be in Kaczyński skin


Donald Tusk pointed out that it was a "well said speech". – And even if not all quotes were well selected, but mostly you can see that president Nawrocki was preparing long and conscientiously for his first speech," he said.

According to the Prime Minister, "the only tense and increasingly sadder politician in the area was Jarosław Kaczyński".

– And I'm not surprised. There's a shift on the right. There is clearly a fresh right-wing leader – he said. Tusk besides cited the situation that the president of PiS had present won the TVN24 station reporter.

– I think these nerves of president Kaczyński are justified. I would not like to be in his skin today," added the head of government.

Previously Donald Tusk besides referred to the president's critical words towards government. He assured that both he and the ministers were ready to confront. And he continued: "So were the erstwhile presidents. (...) The desire to have the powers that the Prime Minister and the Government have in the Polish political strategy is very evident.

The Prime Minister added that "the constitution which president Nawrocki referred to many times in his speech is unequivocal".
