Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that "elections will not be crucial from the point of view of citizens" unless the courts consider all the electoral protests. He besides referred to the behaviour of Andrzej Duda and PiS politicians during the last gathering of the National safety Council. "The President's consequence – I apologize for the word: hysterical, as well as the reaction of PiS politicians – that is striking," said the head of government at the press conference on Friday.
During the press briefing on Friday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with journalists to announce that the recently created government spokesperson position was appointed Minister for the European Union Adam Szpiecka. The appointment of a government spokesperson for the coalition on 15 October announced following the defeat of Rafał Trzaskowski in the presidential election. At the time, it was said that all formations that participate in the ruling alliance must be "shared."
At the question stage, the Prime Minister referred to the issue of electoral protests which, after the second circular of the presidential election, received respective 1000 to the ultimate Court.
"I took the constitution with me and I want to read Article 129, point 2: The voters have the right to file a protest against the validity of the election of the president of the Republic of Poland under the rules laid down in the Act," said Donald Tusk.
He stressed that "elections will not be crucial from the public's point of view unless we explain all the protests." "The voices can be counted with cameras in hand... so that all of Poland can see. Grudziądz, Bielsko-Biała, Kraków – forgeries, manipulations or mistakes occurred there," he added.
He then referred to the situation from the last gathering of the National safety Council, commenting on president Andrzej Duda's supposedly "hysterical" reaction.
"I have paid close attention to the incomprehensible and unacceptable reaction of the president erstwhile I said that in the interests of Poland, the president of Poland and the future President, it is in the interests of all doubts, due to the fact that that is the constitution. The President's reaction – I apologize for this word: hysterical, as well as the reaction of PiS politicians – is striking. They and we are here to do everything we can to explain, not to hide something. I have no intention: let's count, let's count, possibly we can cancel the election. This is truly not the point," said the head of government.
