During the Cabinet Council, convened on Wednesday by president Karol Nawrocki, the Prime Minister besides spoke. During his speech, Donald Tusk mentioned a mistake that his government has been making for almost 2 years in power.

On Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. at the Presidential Palace, the first Cabinet Council convened by president Karol Nawrocki began. During his speech, criticism of the government besides fell. Prime Minister Donald Tusk responded.

Donald Tusk confessed to that mistake

During the speech, Tusk referred, among others, to investments within the Central Communication Port (CPK). – Investments for which the Minister of Infrastructure is liable have increased by 100% over the last 2 years. Next year we will allocate nearly PLN 100 billion to them," said Donald Tusk.

As he noted, in the last year of the erstwhile government’s rule, this amount was little than 50 billion. He emphasized, "We do, we don't talk."

The Prime Minister besides added that president Nawrocki limits the ambition of the advanced velocity Railway to 250 km per hour. “In our task it is 350 km per hour, which means the fastest railway in Europe”, said Tusk. This means "possibility of repolonizing investments in infrastructure".

– We besides realize it in energy at the moment. I don't want to make bad guesses here, but a more business-oriented state knows who would be curious in keeping only 250 km per hour. But I know precisely how it will be, and I will whisper in your ear to the president later, who is truly curious in limiting Polish ambitions erstwhile it comes to high-speed railways. I am not talking about the fact that the CPK has started," said the head of government.

And he added, "We may not have made adequate presentations, but the investment has moved and will be ready sooner than we're assuming at the moment."

Poor PR government problem

In this way, the Prime Minister accidentally admitted to the coalition's repeated mistake since the beginning of his tenure – mediocre communication and government's PR. Experts have long pointed out that this is the origin of misunderstandings and falling quotations.

Fatal information policy and deficiency of a spokesperson is 1 of the "seven sins of the government" that Poles mentioned in conversation with Katarzyna Zuchowicz in the Temat. 1 of the politicians of KO commented:

"This is one more time the sin of our government. So good things are happening for the community, but the community doesn't know. We can't communicate and distribute it. The situation is repeated many years ago, before the regulation of the Law and Justice, erstwhile the PO did quite a few wonderful things, but they did not 'under the arms', to average people. People were then convinced that Poland was in ruins while it was developing rapidly".

So far, the situation has not changed the appointment of a government spokesman. Let us remind that in a survey conducted by SW investigation commissioned by rp.pl website in late June, respondents were asked to give an opinion on Tusk's decision, which appointed Adam Szapka as a spokesperson for the government.

4.6% of respondents rated this nomination positive, while 24.3% rated it negative. In turn 32.1 percent of respondents declared indifference to this decision, and 19% admitted that they had not heard the appointment of Adam Sz Trapka for this position.
