Great Saturday is simply a minute erstwhile even politicians tend to let go. This time besides both leaders of the largest Polish groups decided to address citizens. Donald Tusk – Prime Minister and KO leader – chose a household tone, calm.
Jarosław Kaczyński – president of the Law and Justice Office – on the contrary. In his speech he did not only escape from politics, but besides straight suggested that "difficult time" in Poland must end. The contrast between appearances despite the "silian graphics" in the background – was striking.
Donald Tusk: children, basket and "let's not talk about politics"
Prime Minister Donald Tusk published Christmas wishes in 2 installments. First, on Friday, in an entry on the X portal, he mentioned politics, but at the same time suggested that it was better to remainder from it on holiday. "The last political remark before Christmas. The higher the rankings of Rafał, Simon and Magda, the better for Poland. So let's keep our fingers crossed for them all. It's gonna be okay!".
On Saturday, the Prime Minister added to this a video in which he had already completely cut himself off from current political themes. – Easter, a time of hope, a time of kindness, a time of love and faith. So let's effort not to talk about politics these days," stressed the Prime Minister.
Tusk called for focus on household relations and the atmosphere of shared celebration. – At the household table it is not crucial who is right, relationships are important. Let's take the kids, let's take the grandchildren, let's go with the baskets, with the saint to the church. On Sunday, let's sit at the table, let's not over-food – the Prime Minister advised, making wishes to Poles.
Jarosław Kaczyński attacked in wishes. "Over Polish Dark Clouds"
Jarosław Kaczyński had another idea. I think everyone knows the words spoken by movie Leonia Pawlak from the iconic comedy "She's Herself" erstwhile her boy Kazimierz went to court with grenades in his pocket: "The court of justice, but justice must be on our side". In this spirit – despite the vacation temper and the call for peace – the president of PiS decided to speak.
– The feast of the large Night is coming, the beautiful feast of the Resurrection of the Lord. I wanted to want you the most heartfelt wishes of Christmas, but besides of all happiness. Everything good. Everything you anticipate from life – started mildly president of PiS. But then the transmission became dark.
Over Poland present dark clouds. We have a hard time. And I want you, each of you and everyone at once, that this time will end," said Kaczyński.
There were no circumstantial names, no "who is guilty", but the speech of the message was clear. Not even the spring-Christmas background of the recording helped:
– These holidays may be specified a minute of announcement that a certain period of time, a bad period in our national life, in our social life, is ending – the submission of "requests" to Poles Jarosław Kaczyński ended.
