Turkey is investing in old American tanks

The Turkish Land Forces are receiving the first modernized M60T1 tanks. The vehicles have successfully passed inspections. In total, over 160 M60T and M60TM tanks (deeply modernized by Turkey in the first decade of this century, inactive in cooperation with the Israeli industry) will undergo modernization. It is besides possible that the M60A3TTS tanks in Turkish service, of which there are over 600, could be upgraded as well.
