Turkey's advanced election committee announced authoritative presidential election results: Erdoğan: 49.52%, Kılıçdaroğlu: 44.88, Oğan: 5.17%, İnce: 0.43%. This means that there will be a second circular of elections in Turkey on 28 May, as no of the candidates reached the minimum threshold of support. Neither president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan nor Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu won more than half the vote on Sunday May 14. However, it is worth noting that the current president has an advantage of 2.5 million votes over the opponent, so it is his triumph that is most frequently anticipated in the second round.
