Frictions and disputes on the Turkey-Israel line are taking on a fresh dimension, and among any observers of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, they even rise concerns about going beyond the purely verbal sphere. Although Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has never been a supporter of Israel, his current position, or alternatively the pace of change in his approach, may be a origin of concern. Even more so due to the fact that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not stay passive in the face of Turkish meddling.
