Turkey has given the date of deployment of Altay tanks

According to the information given, the Altay primary tanks will enter service in Turkish land troops, August 30, 2025. These vehicles will inactive be equipped with a powertrain developed in the Republic of Korea, consisting of a DV27K diesel engine and an EST15K transmission. It is planned to usage the Turkish BATU powertrain, which will consist of a 1500 hp V12 diesel engine and a transmission with six forward and 2 rear gears. The tank maker is BMC.
