Turkey without Instagram and TikTok. Political background to the authorities' decisions

After the opposition Republican People's organization in Turkey called on its supporters to anti-government protests on Sunday, the authorities blocked access to respective popular social platforms. Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok are not working.
