Three years after 7 October – Hamas triumph

The massacre Hamas carried out in Israel on October 7, 2023 was not the bloodiest act of terrorism in history. This grim ranking continues to launch an attack on the planet Trade Center 25 years ago, although 7/10 is next in terms of the number of victims. The Hamas attack was besides not an act of terrorism with the top consequences for the world. Here the palm of precedence is due to shots fired by Gawrilo Princip in Sarajevo in August 1914 – and may it never be replaced. But no terrorist attack has successfully reversed the public's attitude towards its victims and to any degree against its perpetrators.
