This year's Warsaw circuit was held under the slogan "Hopeful Hope!". On the President.pl website we learn that the inspiration for this subject was the celebrated "Sages of the World, monarchs". This event traditionally brings together families, clergymen and government representatives around the thought of joint caroling.

The presidential couple in a peculiar message to the participants stressed the importance of solidarity, knowing and respect in the coming year. In the recordings from the march we see Karol Nawrocki, who greets others with the words "beautiful that you are."

6 January 2026 is besides the symbolic minute of the end of the Year of Hope, announced by the late Pope Francis.

The Feast of the 3 Kings on January 6. 1 of the oldest worlds wasn't always a day off

The celebration of the Lord's Revelation, called Epiphany, is 1 of the first festivals established by the Church. It aims to honor the appearance of God to man. This tradition dates back to the 4th century, but in Polish culture it was for good written as the feast of the 3 Kings, commemorating the visit of the Wise Men from the East to Bethlehem.

January 6 is simply a day off from work in Poland. It wasn't always like that. This was reinstated by the Act in 2010 after a ten-year break since the Polish People's Republic of Poland. The first day off after the changes came in 2011 and from that point on, street nativity scenes are organized again throughout Poland.

The symbol of that day is the dedication of chalk and the marking of doors with the inscription C+M+B (not K+M+B from the names of kings, as any people mistakenly think). This is short for the Latin want of Christ Mansion Benedict, which is to ask for a blessing for the house. This festival closes the period of the Gods and traditionally opens the time of carnival.
