On Sunday, the Karol Nawrocki Convention was held in Łódź. The peculiar guest of the event was president Andrzej Duda, who publically declared that he would vote for the PiS candidate – even though he claimed a fewer months ago that "the president is not from giving support". “I am the decision of Jarosław Kaczyński,” said Nawrocki.
– Jarosław Kaczyński came to the convention, put the president of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda in front of him and placed Karol Nawrocki on the another hand. And he felt no embarrassment, nothing inappropriate – he criticized during his rally in Poznań Rafał Trzaskowski.
Trzaskowski: "I don't want to be Kaczyński's decision"
However, not only was the rally strong. Late in the evening, Trzaskowski posted a social media entry in which he put a pin in his political rival.
"Mr. Nawrocki present admitted to being 'the decision of Jarosław Kaczyński'. I want to become president of your decision – the decision of all Poles and Poles. And that's the fundamental difference. We request a truly civilian president. The president who connects. And who will not be another puppet of president Kaczyński," he wrote.
"Politics are not a boxing ring. And patriotism is not screaming and empty passwords. Politics is the art of consensus and community building. And what the Warsaw Insurgents teach us is the patriotism of building, patriotism of everyday work," added the candidate KO.
As we wrote in naTemat.pl, in Łódź the candidate of the Law and Justice gave the most place to Donald Tusk and the ruling. “If Donald Tusk’s strategy is closed and Rafal Trzaskowski is installed in the Presidential Palace, it will be the end of Poland as we know it”, Nawrocki said.
There was more to the alusion and criticism of the head of government.
– The directors of national amnesia, those who want to take our past and memory, we will not let it due to the fact that there is our greatness. Our ambitions, our values. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, you will not take our past from us and we will enter the future bravely due to the fact that we know who we are," he said.
The head of IPN besides threatened migrants. He said that "his" Poland would not have "illegal migrants" that alternatively of integration centres, there would be deportation centres.
