On Friday evening, Poland's political eyes were directed at the presidential debate between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki. Although not all indicate a clear winner, the speech of comments on the network suggests that for 1 candidate it was a breakthrough debate.

"This is yet a political leader, not a product" — Trzaskowski on a wave?

Rafał Trzaskowski's performance was very well rated by many journalists and observers of the political scene. Michał Danielewski, editor-in-chief of OKO.press, stressed that this was the best performance of the candidate since the start of the campaign. "We yet see a leader, not just a marketing product," he wrote on social media.

RMF FM writer Krzysztof Berenda spoke equally strongly. In his opinion, Trzaskowski “turned from a long journey” and presented himself as a changed, much stronger politically candidate.

Experts see a change in speech and quality of debate

Kamil Dziubka, writer of Onetu, besides drew attention to the fresh dynamics of the clash. He recalled that Trzaskowski had to deal with attacks in the "one against twelve" format earlier, and Friday's debate was the first case in which he had a chance at an equal start. “This is simply a completely different quality,” he said.

What about Charles Nawrock? Reactions are mixed but more frequently critical

The performance of Karol Nawrocki was somewhat little appreciated. According to Wojciech Szacki from “Politics”, the candidate supported by the ruling camp seemed lost and unprepared. “He was nervous, he avoided answers, and any of his statements sounded just strange,” wrote Szacki.

Many net users had akin impressions. There were comments online suggesting that Nawrocki failed to take advantage of the chance to convince undecided voters.

Politicians take the floor. Everyone sees their winner

The opinion of the political scene could not be missed. Mr Jacek Sasin (PiS) there is no uncertainty that the mountain was Nawrocki. In his opinion, the right-wing candidate focused on the most crucial issues for citizens: security, wellness and regular problems. “He wasn’t talking about himself, he was just listening to people,” said the politician.

On the another hand, the MP of the Left, Anna-Maria Żukowska, broke out of the bipolar evaluation scheme. In her opinion, the biggest winner of the debate was the host – writer Jacek Prusinowski.

How about... a tie? There are those who see the balance

Marek Migalski, a political commentator and erstwhile Euro MP, announced a draw. ‘Both will. A draw. Although supporters of both candidates consider their idol to have won and plowed the opponent," he commented with a wink. It's a voice that can scope people more skeptical of media emotions.

They'll both figure it out.

Summary: Who truly won the debate?
