Nawrocks about abortion, partnerships and Ukraine

Karol Nawrocki, a candidate of the Law and Justice for President, spoke on the Polsat News program about abortion. He openly admitted to being her opponent.

I wouldn't sign the abortion compromise bill. I couldn't let this happen as the future president to have children with Down syndrome undergo abortion.

When asked about the anticipation of signing a law on partnerships by the Minister for Equality Catherine Kotuli, Nawrocki replied that he would not have done so either. At the same time, he pointed out that he would be willing to talk about regulations on the position of a loved one.

Another subject afraid Ukraine and its membership of the European Union and NATO. As Nawrocki stated:

At present, I do not see Ukraine in any structure, either in the EU or in NATO, until specified crucial matters are resolved for Poles as well. It cannot be part of an global alliance a state that is incapable to account for a very violent crime of 120 000 of its neighbours.

Medieval Law

The president of Warsaw and the candidate for president with the order of KO Rafał Trzaskowski responded to these statements. He said:

I was very sad to hear that. due to the fact that it seemed that even in PiS i.e. there was any reflection about this medieval abortion law that was introduced by the PiS. Turns out Mr. Nawrocki totally supports this medieval law. It's truly amazing.

As regards the partnerships and Trzaskowski considered that what Nawrocki said was The most conservative position of all PiS politicians and related to PiS.

On the subject of Ukraine, Trzaskowski stated that the PiS government and president Duda had previously supported Ukraine's European aspirations and advocated the swift admission of Ukraine to NATO. According to him, these behaviours indicated that everything is clear in this regard, but Nawrocki's words are to show that the situation is different. The candidate KO noted that the issue of exhuming victims of the Volyn crime “must be clarified”.
