Last year, the Silesian godka almost gained the position of a regional language. For the first time in the past of the 3rd Polish Republic, the parliamentary majority was "for", but the presidential veto stood in the way. Activists are waiting for the presidential elections and this time they intend to play for the designation of Silesians as an cultural minority. For them, this may end up throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
