Apparently Donald Trump's latest social media entry is fine. I mean, chaotic, boastful and totumphatic oratorial displays. But there's something else about it: Trump is starting to explain himself.
It starts standard. Trump committed an entry in his fact Social platform, in which he decided to mention to the text in the "New York Times". The psychic writer Peter Baker criticized Trump. His analysis shows that the actions of the U.S. president are beneficial to Russia, in this context he mentioned at least a proposal to legalize the annexation of Crimea by the US.
Trump "presses" after the author, after writing, but then starts hitting another tons. He blames the annexation of Crimea on Barack Obama (not one, as Joe Biden besides said). Biden is blamed for the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Change of rhetoric – Trump about Putin hasn't said that yet
"I had nothing to do with this stupid war, but the early phase erstwhile I gave Ukraine Javelina [...] I'm just trying to clean up the mess Obama and Biden left me, and what a mess it is," Trump writes.
"Taking all this into account, there was no reason why Putin would launch rockets into civilian areas, cities and towns, for the past fewer days. It makes me think that possibly he doesn't want to halt the war, he's just tricking me, and you gotta deal with it differently, through 'banking' or 'second sentence'? besides many people are dying!!" adds the president of the United States.
It's a large change from his old rhetoric. It cannot be overlooked that Trump wrote these words virtually moments after gathering with the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski. The gentlemen met at the Vatican for the ceremony of Pope Francis. An iconic (literally) photograph of their conversation surrounded the full world.
Did Trump yet see through his eyes?
He seems to have begun to explain that it happened to him that he lets Putin play like a child. Was Zelensk yet able to scope any profoundly hidden decks of reason in the head of the American President? Or did the atmosphere of the Vatican have a bearing on the coolness of his tempered and rife mind?
We don't know that, but clearly something's starting to happen. Finally. And at least for now, we gotta believe that Trump understood something important.
Some form of breakthrough, for the time being verbal, is besides announced by the Kremlin spokesman. Dmitry Pieskov via Interfax informed that Vladimir Putin had confirmed his readiness to negociate with Ukraine without preconditions.
That's rather significant, there's nothing random, unthinkable in this communication. And the message itself was sent after a gathering with U.S. president Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff.
