Trump fell into a "tariff frenzy". Poland may suffer

U.S. president Donald Trump said he "recommends direct 50 percent work on the European Union". He had previously complained that trade negotiations with the Old Continent were stuck in a dead end.


Trump's message preceded the announcement to impose a peculiar taxation of at least 25% on Apple if it does not start producing iPhones in the United States.

Trump has already written on fact Social (his social networking site) that advanced import duties will apply as of 1 June.

The EU was "very hard to cooperate" – Trump wrote about a block of 27 countries. "Our discussions with them lead nowhere!".

This is simply a change in Trump's operations, which late praised the first "trade agreements" with China and the UK and withdrew from another tariff proposals. The markets were encouraged by these movements, investors felt relief from the economical uncertainty and instability threatened by Trump's duties.

Trump has long accused Europe of utilizing the US unfairly through trade. On 2 April, he announced the introduction of an overall work of 20% on the EU as part of his "reciprocal" tariff plan, although he rapidly reduced this work to 10% for 90 days.

Europe besides faces Trump sector tariffs, including a 25-percent taxation on all imports of steel and aluminium. Poland besides suffers as part of the European economy.
