The American raid on Venezuela and the capture of president Nicolás Maduro raised renewed fears of the US taking over of Greenland. Supporters of the MAGA movement Donald Trump have chosen the Danish territory as a target, and Trump convinces that an autonomous island is needed the US “for safety”.
